Our library provides a multitude of resources for patrons to stay current with technological advancements, whether it be through books, e-books, newspapers, or more recently, virtual reality.
Thanks to the support of our community, we are able to make technological advancements and resources available to our patrons to ensure they are not left behind in the digital age. We have invested in virtual reality headsets, allowing our patrons to experience the power of virtual reality firsthand. These cutting-edge technologies allow our patrons to gain a better understanding of the world around them while also having fun. We are always open to helping patrons to set up and troubleshoot these headsets in order to give them the best possible experience.
Our library is also equipped with other resources such as online databases, audiobooks, digital music services, streaming video and more. We work hard to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to providing information to our patrons. We actively search for new technologies that could benefit our patron and strive to make them available to everyone in the community.
At Catahoula Parish Library, we pride ourselves on providing current technology to keep our patrons familiar with the changes in the world. We also enjoy telling the story of how our library has adapted and responded to the community’s need for different media and information over the years. Throughout our long history, we have embraced changes in order to stay relevant and up to date with the latest technology. We have continued to invest in new technology to keep our patrons informed and introduce them to technology they may not have otherwise had the chance to experience.
